If you have recently tried to play The Sims 3 on your android device, you know that you get an error when you try to download the data files. Try this simple fix:
1. Download and install The Sims 3 from the Android Market.
2. Download this file. These are the files it tries to download.
3. Extract the files out of the zip file.
4. Mount your android device on your computer and copy "com.eamobile.sims3_na_qwf" from the zip file, then paste the folder in your /sdcard/android/data/ directory.
5. Open the Sims 3 and play!
This should work with all devices that have the NaN error. If it does not work, ensure the app is on the SD card by using App2SD from the market. You can also download the file straight from your android device and extract it to /sdcard/android/data/.

DeleteHello i got and a samsung galaxy siii and i too want to know how to fix it without an sd card... i install it all good i put the cache in android/data and then when i open it it downloads normally the files and in the first screen no light blue bubbles (with the Start game etc) are shown.. only the letters and i can t play cause i can t see most of the images and letters... :/ For example i manage to press start new game and when i get in the sim build it only shows the sim and nothing else and i press in screen without knowing which is what etc... :/

ReplyDeleteOk, well, I am using this on my Kindle Fire also. The Kindle has a "virtual SD card", where the sd card is actually mounted on the devices main storage. When you mount the Kindle onto your computer, the folder that you see is the "sd card".
DeleteWhat you need to do is install ES File Explorer or similar, and then download the zip file, and extract it. You can use ES Explorer to copy it to '/sdcard/android/data/' directory.
Do you have the application itself? How did you get it?
Hi there! I just downloaded the Sims 3 on my Kindle and fixed the NaN error by following your directions, but right when it downloaded, this new error popped up:

I'm not sure if I have a wrong apk download or something but I've tried this file with at least 4 different apks and the only progress I have made is skipping the nan download page to language (where it doesn't let me select a language normally so I click English then close and reboot the game) then I get a white unplayable screen.

ReplyDeleteThanks for Tech Support I paid for this game because I wanted to play The Sims Free Play but it's not compatible with my android or my samsung cell phone so I finally downloaded The Sims 3 game so that I won't have to take my pc with me every time I went to visit my family. And now I get to have fun just like she does right on my android tablet. But I sure wish that they made it so that all cell phones and tablets can play it as well.
